HORSE RIDING

Witherslack Hall Equestrian Centre is a long established riding centre providing horse riding for all ages and abilities.

This 2500 Acre estate comprises the largest area of semi natural woodland in Cumbria and some of the best hacking in the lake District!

Choose from a range of activities including, Hacking & Trekking, Lessons, Pony Days, Trail Rides and Riding Holidays.

EDUCATION

Witherslack Hall Equestrian Centre is an approved Training Centre working in partnership with Equestrian Training. EQL Qualification, AQA Unit Award Scheme Certificates, Pony Club Tests, Apprenticeships, Short Courses.

HACKING & TREKKING

Riders from complete beginners to advanced will equally be taken aback by the views, scenery and tranquillity that our 2500 acre private estate. We offer rides from Half hour pony rides to 6-day trail rides. Ages start from 3 years

RIDING HOLIDAYS

Witherslack Hall Farm offers horse riding holidays all year round for families adults and children from the age of 3 yrs from complete beginners to advanced riders. Packages available or we can tailor make your holiday to suit you.

LESSONS

Tuition is available for private and group lessons for riders from beginners to advanced. Our experienced staff,  Horses and Ponies can cater for riders who would like to specialise in show jumping, dressage, showing and Horseback Archery.

CLUBS

The Witherslack Lake District Pony Club is an international, voluntary youth organisation which is open to young people aged under 25. Our horse riding club is the perfect opportunity to put into practise the new skills you have been learning in your lessons.
